Legendary rock stars’ sons, Lennon and Marley were on hand to raise funds for the Prince Albert II de Monaco Foundation and the Love Over All Foundation at the Better World Awards.

Songwriter and philanthropist, Denise Rich presented the BWA humanitarian award to Kymani Marley.

The Awards brought out an international set, the millionaires and billionaires you imagine you’d see at any Grand Prix party.

Among the guests which included members of the Milinchenko family, newly engaged German beauty, Cecile Ruppman and Rhune Anderson, Mr. and Mrs. Brian (Olivia Gaynor) Long. ("Liv" was over nine months pregnant and "Wouldn't miss it!"- and held out to give birth to her  new baby boy, Harry, three days, later). The Longs had such a good time they invited everyone to a dancing party at their palatial Monte Carlo apartment the next night.

Marley flew to Monaco from Jamaica to perform. His Love Over All Foundation was established to help children worldwide in their struggle with sickle disease and diabetes and improving on living conditions for children.

During the evening Marley revealed that two of his children suffer from sickle cell disease and one from diabetes, ultimately inspiring him to establish his foundation -- to make a difference to children’s lives all over the world who suffer from these illnesses.

To raise money he was auctioning off a guitar. The third to last child of the late great Bob Marley (only 5 when his father died) told the crowd that he had played this guitar on his first world tour with Van Halen.  Lennon clearly had his sights set on the Marley memorabilia and fought off tough opposition to secure the guitar for 25,000 euros, a generous donation from Lennon to Marley’s Love Over All Foundation!

The Doubles Club juniors members joined with the Club’s Wendy Carduner to throw a smashing party, “Southsides and Sombreros.” A Southside (or Southsider) as you may know is a fabulous cocktail to have under the beach umbrella in the hot summer sun by the sea. It is made with lemon juice, simple syrup, mint leaves, seltzer and gin. They were served Butler Style waiting on trays, as guests streamed through the doors.
