Large Collection of Sherle Wagner Semi Precious Table -Tops in Malachite and Tiger Eye -For Sale Only I have for sale a large collection of original Sherle Wagner designed semi-precious malachite and tiger eye table tops. These are pieces which were designed by and crafted for Mr. Wagner to be sold as side tables--but design plans were never completely executed. Table tops are available in 12" sq, 22" sq. , 12"sq cubes. All of the table tops have threaded fittings on the underside to be attached to a custom crafted leg (legs or base not available). These are in limited supply and all are one of a kind pieces with a different mosaic of stone--once they are sold off there will be no more available.
In addition I have a pair of hand carved Sherle Wagner semi precious brown-onyx pedestal sinks or "shell basins" --these are each carved out of one piece of stone and are in original wood crates, never used. I have a fair amount of Semi precious tiger eye bathroom vanities all that have never been used, are in superb condition and crated in original wood crates they were shipped in from Italy to NYC in late 1980's. One vanity is in semi precious malachite.

They are made by hand and by machine. This particular quilt was made on my hand-crank Singer sewing machine and hand-tied. It is bordered in bright pink and turquoise, perfect for spring and summer. Rare Historical 1982 USA Today First Edition Issue September 15th marked the 25th anniversary of the national newspaper USA Today. This paper was ridiculed in 1982 for their bright colored pages and tv style vending machines - but now 25 years later, it is the number one paper in the country. This first edition was only sold in the Washington DC area on the first day. My price for this paper which has been wrapped since 1982, and is in mint condition is $500, which is cheap considering that this paper is a double collectable, as the death of Princess Grace of Monaco was the very first cover story! 2 Antique Animal Paintings (Alfred Weczerzick, Sophie Sperlich) For Sale Offered for sale (at a reasonable price) are two oil paintings from my private collection of animal paintings:
The first is a 19th C. cat painting by Sophie Sperlich, a well-collected German animal painter, who lived from 1863-1906 in Munich. The painting depicts two kittens or cats on a table with a cup and a spoon. Sophie Sperlich is specifically regarded for her cat paintings and skill as a miniaturist: Every hair and minute detail is painted with painstaking accuracy and exactness.
The painting is in excellent condition and ready to hang. The elaborate, gilded frame is in excellent condition as well.
Specifications: Oil on Panel, 7.5 x 6 3/4 inches. With Frame 13 x 11 inches. Frame is 3.15 inches wide
Signature: S.Sperlich, München
The second is a large and magnificent dog painting by the German animal painter Alfred Weczerzick (1864-1952). Wezcerzick is best known for his emotional and lively animal portraits and studies. The painting, an excellent example of early 20th C animal art, depicts a medium sized mixed breed dog with a sweet expression sitting on his back legs in front of a wall.
Frame is a very sumptuous, sculpted vintage gold leaf frame with open cut work, 5.5 inches (!!) wide
