Also Wednesday night at J. McLaughlin’s Lexington Avenue store at 72nd Street, they hosted an event for Sharon Bush and her daughters Ashley and Lauren for benefit their Teddy Share and FEED projects. They featured designer-dressed FEED Teddy Bears crated by designers Cynthia Rowley, Rachel Roy, Vena Cava, Zang Toi, Milly, Nicole Miller, Douglas Hannant, LBL for FEED, Erica Domesek, Irving and Fine, J. McLaughlin, Susan Rockfeller and Urban Zen, now on sale at CharityBuzz.
The Teddys are available through December 10. With each teddy purchased, three treatments of Plumpy’Nut, an energy-dense paste that hleps save the lives of malnourished children, will be provided to starving children across the world. |

| This past Wednesday night at the Frank Gehry designed IAC Headquarters in New York, Daphne Guinness, Claire Danes and Sarah Jessica Parker were among the celebrities who turned out for the launch of the Valentino Garavani Virtual Museum. The museum is the first of its kind and is the result of three years of planning by Valentino and his partner Giancarlo Giammetti. |

| Last Monday night at Avery Fisher Hall at Lincoln Center, they celebrated the 10th Anniversary of “Baby Buggy,” the non-profit created by Jessica Seinfeld to provide essential gear, clothing and educational services to families in need. The crowd had stand-up sets from Jon Stewart, Colin Quinn and Mrs. Seinfeld’s husband Jerry and hosted by George Stephanopoulos. More than 1400 people attended and they raised almost $1 million for the cause. |

The Institute of Classical Architecture & Art held its 8th annual Holiday Party and Auction at the elegant Racquet and Tennis Club on Park Avenue. Over 400 guests enjoyed the festivities in the beautiful McKim, Mead, and White landmark, a fine example of the ornate private clubs constructed in New York during the early 20th century.
Travel was the theme; carefully curated trips organized by the Institute’s chapters and friends across the US and UK were well complemented by sketches of classical inspirations contributed by artists and architects who appreciate drawing as a fine way to learn. Proceeds support the Institute’s national educational programs. |
